A black CORVIKNIGHT isn't too hard to track against the backdrop of a bright blue sky. This one, however, flies at the command of bryan delarosa and manages to get the drop on Remiel regardless. The STEEL BEAM connects with Guavafang's wing, sending them twirling downward before she can regain control of her flight path once more.

When she finally does so, the Noivern rockets upward with the flair of a DRAGON DANCE in her wake. It's only once she stops to a hover that Remiel is spared a moment to set his gaze on the assailants across from them: a Beast he once admired greatly. A man he once called comrade.

"Bryan? Is that you?" If he'd thought they parted ways amicably, the royal supposed he was just proven wrong. Disappointment weighs down his expression as he continues. "I don't want to fight you. Leave."

He'd heard such words before, and he'd almost begun to get used to hearing them. TEAM ROCKET certainly did not take kindly to its defectors. Not that he cared, of course. Having been brainwashed and deluded himself, Remiel learned not to take their statements to heart.

But still... it always stung from someone he once considered a friend. Or, at least, someone he once admired. Not that he'd give Bryan the satisfaction of reminding him now. It would only give more fuel to the fire of someone who clearly felt jaded about him.

That being said, the FAIRY LOCK that appeared around them became another unwanted OBSTACLE in this race for time. Not only that, but it solidified bryan delarosa as his enemy. There was literally no escaping it now.

"Have it your way then," The exiled prince gravely states, TELEPATHICALLY commanding his Noivern to suddenly WILD CHARGE the opposing man and his Corviknight in a BOOSTED (ATK+ SPD+) storm of draconic blue energy and electricity. "I can't let you get in my way!"

When had bryan delarosa become so... vindictive? He supposed this might have been hiding within him always. Still, this form of taunting was something Remiel could expect from the likes of others within the organization. But when it came to Bryan, it was completely alien to him.

And, needless to say, exceptionally dark.

On brand for Team Rocket, really.

"You're trying to get under my skin, and it's entirely too obvious." The former Admin glares as he summons a TRANQUILL to the fray. The mention of Elise Calcifet just then, however, nearly prompted him to blow up. Instead, he takes a deep breath and shakes his head. "The IDEALS you follow for Team Rocket are faulty. You and XERNEAS deserve better, but you're blind!"

Guavafang is forced to perform EVASIVE maneuvers as a pair of STEEL BEAMS fires her way. Remiel's Tranquill, however, is ordered to take action and counter with a swift AIR CUTTER that hopes to strike both opposing Pokémon (and their master) in one fell swoop.

Another Pokémon. An ULTRA BEAST, no less.

And, though he had readied himself for it with his Noivern, his Tranquill had not. The best it could do was intercept the POWER GEM with a QUICK ATTACK. Though this, of course, results in it FAINTING.

Remiel is quick to return the Pokémon to its ball before prompting Guavafang to send a HURRICANE their way. "You have it wrong, Bryan!" The prince yells over the roar of the stirring winds. "I was looking to change TEAM ROCKET into a force for true good! But I was the world's greatest fool to ever think that was possible. dahlia goode and the LEAGUE may have their faults, but at least they don't endanger the world for greed!"

With that, the HURRICANE is finally launched, threatening to cast Bryan into the sky unless his Pokémon do something.

Bryan's twisted accusations fill Remiel with indignation. He had done terrible things for TEAM ROCKET, that much was for certain. But bryan delarosa gave him far too much credit for the rebellion in SOOTOPOLIS CITY. That was not his will that he'd imposed on those people, but theirs.

But he didn't expect the BEAST to understand that or his former motives for the organization. How could he? This argument was not grounded in reason or logic. It was firmly planted in a soil of emotion and broken brotherhood. "I'm not the one inviting the apocalypse to everyone's doorstep!" He yells back.

Just before his Noivern can charge forward, however, his opponent's Nihilego launches a glob of poison at them. They are only given seconds to react, and Guavafang takes the initiative by shielding herself and her master with a large wing. Unfortunately, when the attack connects, this sends them both spiraling downward out of the sky and into a cloud filled with INTERDREAM MIST.

And, for what might feel like an eternity to bryan delarosa and his Pokémon, the duo does not reemerge... until an ominous ROAR reverberates throughout.

Shooting a HYPER BEAM into the sea of INTERDREAM MIST below is like trying to shoot a fish in a barrel of black oil. The attack misses before a fiery INFERNO erupts from the mist below in their direction. Whether or not it manages to strike bryan delarosa or his mount, Remiel reemerges in a black SYGNA SUIT embedded with fiery orange crystals.

Somewhere amid his fall, he'd recalled his Noivern and summoned a SHINY CHARIZARD to mount instead. The two shared a connection that manifested as an aura of blazing energy around them. "You're a fool to believe anything the enemy wants you to believe. And you're the real coward for not standing up for your own beliefs despite it all." He sharply retorts, stubborn against Bryan's self DECEPTIONS and LIES.

A toss from one of the Luxury Balls at his belt summons a CUTIEFLY next. He glares across at his former friend as the winds ripple the tail of his long coat. "I'm disappointed in you, but I'm not here to kill you. Surrender now, Bryan."
